Global Peace & Legacy Awards Gala

Through this gala, our aim is to honor exceptional individuals who have made a significant impact in the communities supported by the Global Village Foundation, with a focus on disadvantaged children, families, and young women in Vietnam. Your presence and generous contribution will deeply impact the lives of disadvantaged children in rural Vietnam, offering them a chance to thrive and transform their futures.

Join us in funding the future in Vietnam

• Hearing aids - Nearly 50% of the youth at Thien Nhan Care Center have hearing loss and are in immediate need of hearing aids. Gala proceeds will go towards purchase hearding aids and ongoing health services from a local audiologist practice.
• Bikes and motorbikes - Access to means of transportation provides instant benefits, relief, and expanded opportunities. Children can get to school quicker and young adults can find work beyond their geographical area. Gala proceeds will purchase bikes for the children, motorbikes for the young adults, and safe helmets for all.
• Scholarships - Attaining an advanced degree in Vietnam cost a fraction compared to western countries and significantly increases earning potential and opportunities. Gala proceeds will fund scholarships to academically promising high school graduates.
• Entrepeneurship - Disadvantaged women face additional barriers including low-wage domestic roles which were disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. Gala proceeds will be used to provide young women entrepreneurs with start-up cost and training to launch a sustainable small business.

*If you are unable to attend, a donation in any amount helps disadvantaged children in Vietnam with the resources they need to fulfill their educational goals and alleviate poverty.
